Supreme Love...
"For unto you is born this day in the City of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord"
Most of Christendom can quote this passage of scripture which is found in Luke chapter 2, verse 11. In it, an angel of the Lord delivered the message to the shepherds who were out in the fields keeping watch over their flock. Although this message was delivered to us through the written Word, and likely not by an angel, still it is a personal message. "Unto you", to me, for me...a Savior...a gift...has been delivered. This Savior, my Savior, is Christ the Lord.
In our homes, as the giver places a beautifully wrapped gift under the Christmas tree, it stays a part of the holiday decor until it is picked up and personally received. Have you received your Gift?
